2022 TREND REPORT

“Each year, Agency EA conducts an industry-wide research study, surveying professionals, experts and top case studies to identify the most impactful trends for the year ahead.

The results are in: 2022 will be a comeback year for #experientialmarketing. As our world evolves at lightspeed, events are erasing distances and rewriting the rules of in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats. A new era for events is slowly but surely emerging, and the landscape holds challenges from both the past and the future. In this year’s trend report, we round up and reveal the top trends that are shaping multi-dimensional experiences.”

For this internal and public facing marketing initiative, I was tasked with updating the branding of the Trend Report from previous years. Using the key descriptors for each trend, I created a collaged image in EA’s signature style. Once the assets were configured properly in Illustrator, they were transferred into After Effects where, with the help of Holly Frankino, we animated them for web use on the landing page, Instagram, and other social media sites.

After completing the web portion of the project, I created the printed book version. Each collaged photo and trend was paired with a case study from Agency EA’s repertoire of work. Using previous years hard copy books as reference, I laid out the new book with updated brand standards, typography placements, and photography.
